Three motorcycle robberies in one day
The NYPD is asking the public to help identify suspects in robberies that occurred in the 112th, 104th, and 110th precincts. All three incidents occurred on the same day and were committed on motorcycles. The incident in the 112th precinct occurred on Wednesday, July 6, at approximately 10:55 a.m. at 67-02 Kessel St., when two male suspects on a motorcycle approached a 21-year-old female as she was walking north on Kessel St. The suspects threatened the victim with a knife and then forcibly took her cell phone, debit card, and ID card. The suspects then fled west on Yellowstone Blvd. The victim refused medical treatment at the scene. The incident in the 104th precinct occurred at approximately 11:13 a.m. on the same day at the intersection of 80th St. and Cooper Ave., when two suspects on a motorcycle approached an 86-year-old man, forcibly ripped off his gold chain, and then pushed the victim to the ground. The suspect fled east on Cooper Avenue. The case in the 110th Precinct of the New York City Police Department occurred at approximately 11:39 on the same day, at the corner of Roosevelt Avenue and 126th Street, six suspects on motorcycles approached a 48-year-old man, one of whom threatened the victim with a gun. The suspects fled west to Roosevelt Avenue after stealing the victim’s gold chain. The victim was not injured.
