Blinken’s speech was interrupted by support for Gaza protesters and he was denounced as the “Minister of Genocide”
On January 14, US Secretary of State Blinken was protested while delivering a speech at a conference on the Middle East in Washington. A female protester in support of Gaza interrupted Blinken and rebuked him for having the blood of thousands of innocent people on his hands, saying that he would always be known as “Bloody Blinken” and “Minister of Genocide.” The woman shouted “Your legacy will be genocide” and “It’s shameful” as she was escorted off the scene. Blinken was interrupted twice more after that, with another protester calling him a “monster” and a “war criminal.”
